Default Overall Win for Gas Gas

Hello everyone. My name is Neal Cagle. My son, Carsten, took a hard fought win at yesterday's SERA/AMA Bear Whiz Enduro in the Desoto National Forest near Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Carsten overcame a strong ride by Alabama KTM 300 rider Clifford Ousley. Carsten's win came on the first enduro ridden on his 2011 XC250. The only changes to the Sachs suspension was a lighter rear spring for Carsten's 158 lbs and clicker adjustment(-comp/+reb). Thanks to Clay and Ted at GGOR.US and Greg at G&G Motorsports in Meridian MS, we're looking forward to the 2011 season.

See ya at the races,
Neal

That's great news! I hope Carsten continues to like the bike. It says a lot to win an overall at any race, I hope things continue to click for him.

Thanks to Clay for supporting him!

I talked to Carsten yesterday morning and he was pretty excited, especially when I pointed out that this was our first Regional overall race win. We believe in regional support over national support. Even the guys riding the national enduros like Carsten and Jeff Melik will be riding regional series. The national rides are gravy on the taters. (Scott....thats the southern version of "icing on the cake"). Carsten beat some really tough competetion to get this win. I'm really proud of him. I think this will be the first of many for him.

Is that the same as gravy on the biscuits?
