Clutch Cover Differences ???

Can someone explain to me the difference between the '17 and earlier clutch cover versus the '18+ cover?

I see them from Rekluse and Zip-Ty listed differently but I used a clutch cover gasket from a kit for my 2011 on my buddy's '21 Rieju and everything lined up perfectly. Really wanting to know the difference is! Thanks.
