Default Acerbis Profile X-Tight Boots

Has anyone tried these boots? Any comments on them re: fit, function and sizing?

I have the 2008 Acerbis X-Tight boots. Previous to that I've had Fox trackers, some MSR boots and Alpinestar Tech 6 boots. The X-tights are awesome! I really like the racheting system for closing the boots. No complaints so far. They worked flawlessly at the ISDE in Greece too.

Actually, I do have one complaint - no ankle pivot. I'm really tempted to give boots like the Sidi Crossfire or Gaerne SG-10 a try to see what the ankle pivot is like.

The Acerbis boots are way better than my Tech 6s.

I have the Sidi boots I lucked out and bought used off of a guy getting out of MX for $100.00 he had 2-pair one for practice and 1 for race.

The ankle pivot is sweet, these are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. No more raw or blistered or tired ankles.

Looks like a sweet boot. I hate my Tech 3s and they were good for a begginer but now I need a better system.

Speedy what size are your feet? If you are going to sell them please let me know.

I like my Gaerne Crossfire's, cheaper than SG-10's and still with a pivot. Buckles work great also!

I have size 11 boots, but I doubt I'll be selling them. I'm trying to cut down costs for 2009 - the past 2 years have been expensive (no ISDE racing for me this year unfortunately...but I WILL be racing it again in 2010).
