High humidity is the worst. Your summer weather seems very similar to ours except is off by about 6 months. Lol

Its just the lead up to the wet season in the tropics. It is what it is. I deal with humidity better than I deal with single digit temps.

Riding through some flood plains yesterday and the sun broke out I swear the temp rose to about 45c. We lost one rider from down south in the first 10 mins into a 5 hour ride and had to go looking for another who we found later dehydrated laying in a creek. Not the type of thing you do in croc country. It was hard work even for the most seasoned of riders but fun all the same.

Lying here with a sheet. Too hot to cuddle the wiff. Tired but sleep may be hard. I can't stand the heat after a point. But that point is probably where an Aussie reaches for another blanket.

Tigers? Crocs?

You guys have enough things that want to eat you huh. Sometimes a cow might give you the stink eye or a bee might go ya over here.

What about in the states? Are mountain lions still such a problem? (Unless watching the Lone ranger as a lad was not an accurate depiction)

Croc country? Which part of the country do you call home?

A few rides back I was cookin and decided to throw my jersey into an errr.. pond/sesshole. Was a good idea at the time, until I smelt the stagnant shit. I think an animal had died in there, twice. Anyway, put it back on and once moving the air cooled things down, and kept the smell behind me.

Not too many predators in this part of the country. Got chased by a goose once though! Have to worry more about ramming into the large game more so than getting eaten by it. A 450lb. Elk in the middle of the trail will make you get on the binders pretty quick!!!
