Default New Guy with an EC200

Hey Guys,

I just got myself a nice 2001 EC 200 Dealers Edition. This is my first gas gas previously I had ridden XRs. It didn't come with a owners or service manual and I can't find one to download anywhere. Anyone know where I can get one?

Thanks,
Sam

Hey thanks! Farthest this goes back though is 2003. Can I assume the 03 is basically unchanged from my 01? Also what is different about the "dealers edition"

Thanks,
Sam

Dealer Edition's have a 2k-2 ignition instead of the 2k-3, and they have a different weighted fly wheel. This makes it a little snappier, more like a race bike.

i think they have a few other differences but i cant recall what they are

There was no "Dealers Edition" in '01. Its probably an XC200 if it has the WP forks and 2K-2 ignition. Basically the same thing.

Hey guys further follow up question. I am going to pick up my EC 200 on Thursday and upon further discussion with the guy he made a mistake when he originally listed the bike as an 01. He said he talked again to the previous owner and he says it was on 03. Is there any way for me to tell for sure from the VIN #?

Thanks,
Sam
