2013 EC300 temp sensor
Just had the new bike delivered and have started the break in routine. Supprised to find that there isn't a temp sensor in the cooling system. Anyone know if they exist? The Dash has the capability to read one, so seams worthwhile to get one if available. My 2005 bike came with one fitted and I relyed on it to let me know when she was good to go.

As the dash is a rebranded TrailTech unit, I would say the inline radiator sensor http://www.trailtech.net/7500-3050.html would be the best bet. |

Magic, just what I needed to know. Just got to find a trail tech wiring diagram to find out where to plug it in.
Thanks Noobi |

I put a trail tech temp sensor on my 2011, it's a no brainier with the connection, there is only one plug hanging out the back of the unit that will accept the sensors plug, you can set two warning light temps in the setup pages ( same as a vapour, download the manual from the tt site) and you get a engine temp and outside air temp as you scroll through the pages, plus the two warning lights.
Hope that helps. Cheers.

Ps, the temp doesn't read till 40 degrees c ( 104 f) or close to that so give it time, at first if you don't know that it looks like it ain't workin.

My Trailtech Voyager came with the temp sensor. It was super easy to install and reads from 0 degrees. I have never had a leak or problem with it. Very handy in making sure your bike is warmed up and knowing if your bike is overheating.
