Default Cometic Gaskets

I just noticed that Cometic has engine gaskets for 2 stroke GG engines. They split them into a top end kit and bottom end kit. http://www.shopengineparts.com/parts...Up)&type=model

Priced together they are about 20% less expensive than the GG overall engine kit but most of the time I don't need the whole kit. Additionally you can buy them individually. http://www.shopengineparts.com/parts...Up)&type=model

I don't know for sure yet, but I am willing to bet they don't charge $15 to ship an O ring.

I've had good luck with cometic on cars, but had a bad cometic head gasket on my old RMZ450 right out of the package. An oem gasket fixed the problem. Pretty hard to screw up an o-ring though. Anyone else have any experience with them?

I have used them several times. The only problem I had was with the water pump cover gasket being the wrong size. I think this changed from 11-12 and they had not caught that. They now have the correct water pump gasket for the 12-13 in the kit. Just installed top and bottom end gaskets on my 13 with no problems.

Just used them from Powersports. Seem well made. A couple of rides in & look fine.

The came with my YZ250 top end kit and the gasket was wrong, had to go out and buy an OEM. Cheap = expensive.
