Default Crank Seal

I'm having some trouble with my jetting. One minute its rich, then its lean.
I now suspect that I might have a leaky crank seal on the ignition side.

Question:
Can I replace the crank seal by just taking of the ignition parts ?
or do I need to split the case ?

Kim
