Default shiver replacement parts need inner damper rod

well.. I guess my torque wrench doesn't like 10Nm. but I'm sure it was user error..

I went to torque the nut on my rebound stack and broke off the threads that is on the dampner rod

never heard the click of the torque wrench....just a pop..

(I've always hated using torque wrenchs for this reason)

yeah... I know.. it was a craftsman and it worked well a few weeks ago on my base valve nut and I rechecked it before I tightened...

anyway... anyone know where I can get a replacement inner rod for my 05 marzocchi shivers?

so far I'm thinking I'm screwed but I have hope I can recover from this screw up..

called Marz... USA and they will not call back or return my email in two days
just left a message this morning at LTR.. (it was before hours)
have threat racing checking as well

I'm in Texas so if any has a line on parts please email me at Ken(at)garage-interiors(dot)com

Any luck - can go fasters help you - is there no chance of repairing the old rod? any 2nd hand forks for sale?

I would call some suspension guys (Powerband Racing is "our" local shop and who Go Fasters uses for suspension work) but there's lots of 'em around. Factory Connection, Enduro Engineering, LTR, blah-blah.

I know Powerband got parts for my 50mms next day air from Marzocchi when they did my suspension last fall.
