Counter balancer, yeah or neigh?
Hi all. I am rebuilding my motor which originated from an MC 250 and I have realized that it does not have a counter balancer on the crank. I do have a counter balancer from a spare EC250 or 300 engine handy and I am considering installing it, however, I was wondering if anyone here has had any positive experiences from running thier 250's w/o the cb? I do have a couple of flywheel weights to choose from as well.
Let me know what you think. Thanks, Eric

All depends on what your planning to do with the bike,, enduro technical stuff or MX.. Granted it does spool up faster without it.. MX is better without.. but it makes it more tractable in the rocks. I really like the CB in my 97 over not in my 03 I had.. The muddy and rocky hills were more fun with the CB.. more like a 4stroke at low rpm's..
