Wow!
Well, I need a new rear brake lever. The sucker is bent. Called up the shop and they wanted 134! Man that's a lot of many.
I wonder what it would cost to have some one build one... |

Post an ad in the For Sale/Wanted forum. I got a brand new pedal from jeffd for $60 + shipping which is a hell of a lot more reasonable then $130+ for a new one from a dealer.

I would suggest heating the pedal and bending it back. How far is it bent. If you heat and cool aluminum it anneals it (softens) - if you bend it, it will work harden it and make it stiffer (and more brittle too). If it is bent alot and you try ot just bend it back without annealing it - it will typically break. The trick is to go through a heat/cool cycle (anneal), bend it a little (work hardens it back to original strength) and repeat.

Brake SNAKE!!!!!!! NHRider!
Yes I to did not listen to the wise riders telling me to use a brake snake. That was until I broke my pedal and spent the $134.00 + $7.00 for the stupid brake snake that saves me about $134.00 bucks each time I ride. |

Thanks.
It is bent enough to rub on the clutch case. I'll see what I can do this weekend with it. |
