I see a lot of KTM's going cheap. There is such a supply of used KTM's out there because for some reason the owners only ride them a year and feel the need to buy a new one.

It is true that the GasGas will get less in the first few years, but after that the gaps starts to close.

The moral of the story is that you take a beating on any "almost new" used bike.

I agree w/ the others. Used bikes in general are a tough sale.

I’m about to sell my 08 YZ450F. Bullet proof bike w/ a great reputation. I paid $6700 w/ tax for it.
I’ve put over $2K in the bike. I’ll probably get less than 5K for it.

Used KTMs are a dime a dozen.

Kind of funny there is a guy over on KTM Talk who wants to trade a 2008 250 XC with less than 20 hrs for a 08 GG 250 or 300. I really doubt he will any takers on this but if for some reason it was the other way around I'll bet there would be plenty of people who would give up their KTM's for a Gas Gas 250/300. Resale is still tuff though any way you slice it. Lots of KTM's get parted out, even newer ones, but there are huge #'s of them out there and lots of people looking for the parts.

How much did you give for the bike?

How much are you going to get?
