With the recent rise of the US dollar that bike would only be $4800 US ($1USD to $1.25CAN)

Looks like a great deal for someone south of the border.

I wonder if the street legal Canadian title would transfer over to street legal here in the State of Washington?

Should be no problem, I just transfered one from the midwest to Wa without a hitch.

I think it might be more of a huge PIA than a problem and I sure would do a whole lot of checking before I pulled the trigger. Bringing a bike in from another country is allot different than bringing it across state lines if your looking to keep it legal and registered.

I know with the gas gas, since the serial number does not come up in the registery is an issue since at that point it's "out of country". Getting it registered at all is the main hurdle. The fact that it is registered in Canada is benificial as the CAd and US registeries databases are tied together. But yes you would want to investigate your local state laws.

I could be interested on the combo pipe guard, please let me know if you are interested on selling it alone.

Bringing a bike in from our neighbors is a non-issue; at least through customs in our area. I have purchased 3 bikes in the past when exchange was favorable to me, just check with the local border crossing for the proper paper work needed and the method needed to avoid any duty. I would be interested, but have never ridden a GasGas at any time and a 15 minute parking lot excursion would never count. Sounds like an excellent price, exchange or not!!

god i love montana!! we have the least restrictions it seems when it comes to vehicles. no emissions testing, no epa stickers for mods, bikes only need head/tail/brake to be street legal, and theres no end(at the moment) to the trail system!! and if yoour sneaky, you can drive around on job applications in your window as temp plates!!
