Default 2011 Txt Pro 250 Clutch Bolts

How do I remove the star bolts? 8mm socket is too big and 7mm is too small

Is there a special tool?

Also how do you remove the basket? I've taken the breather bolt out but it still feels locked into place

Thanks

Are you using a 7mm double hex socket? They look identical to the ones I just removed with that. And yes it is the small 5mm hollow Allen key in the centre of the clutch to remove it. It may just need some gentle leverage.

Only the genuine ones have a small enough head to not get hit by the clutch cover. Unless you use button head Allen bolts which always round out.
I got by with a 7mm ring spanner, they are only done up to something small like 6/7nm

Well good news is the 7mm ring spanner worked on all but one.

Bad news is one was already partially rounded and the ring spanner is not gripping. Any ideas?

Thanks

Hacksaw or dremel a screw driver slot in it, then get a replacement bolt.

And do the bolts up around it to take some load off it. It will come out easier.
