Default sump magnet

I change my trans oil about every 3 rides but there always seems to be about 1/2 - 3/4 the size of a pea amount of fillings stuck to the magnet. I do ride sand a lot and have to use the clutch a lot. But is that normal???

That seems a lot to me. Most of the clutch wear should not be magnetic.
