Just went for a ride in the dark on the bike for the first time in 3 months!!!!!!! It was amazing. Adding the LTR powervalve cover, FMF Gnarly, FMF TC2, BR8EIX pulg, New top end, and the LTR jetting kit with 185 main, 45 pilot in 3rd postion at about +7 deg C.

The bike was rich on the bottom and the top but middle felt great. Even with the fat jetting this thing pulls! Not bogging it down very much or reving it out the mid was great. Tons of pull. So far i fell the top end is still good but will test that out more tomorrow. It was wet and slick out and with all this new found bottom end i had a blast trying to keep the rear end under me. Still super fun compard to befor and i still have the 2k3 igntion in it.

Steve you are my hero. I dont know how you could ride this thing with a 2k2. It must rev super quick. Thanks so much for the all the help.

Got to do some more open area ridding and it was terribly aparent that my bike is running rich. I am goign to try a 180 main and 42 pilot. Might even splurge for a #8 slide. Also might try a 52 rear sproket to make the power more fun. Thanks!!!

A 180 will be fine. 185 is way too rich on that bike. There should be no need to go for a number 8 slide either. Try 180 and clip 2 on needle. Should crisp it up nicely. Keep your 42 pilot.

I'm running 42 pilot, 175 main, needle 2nd from the top, #7 slide, air screw 2 turns out at elevations around 2500-5000 feet, temperatures around 15-20° with very crisp jetting. Plug is tan.

I'd guess a 178 main and 42 pilot with the needle in the middle clip should be just about right.

By the way, the 2k-2 ignition is still super smooth, but when you need to wick it up in a hurry, it responds instantly. It's all in throttle and clutch control.

I was thinking about swaping for the 2k2 but i think i am going to plate my bike in the spring. So i will need the lighting power. Also, i am trail bound in 1 hour. Report back late to night on how things went with 42PJ and 180M. THANKS!!!

Just got back from ridding and it was great. With the 180M, 42PJ, and 3rd with LTR the bike was crisp. With the FMF Gnarly, turbine core 2, and LTR powervalve it rips. It has the same if not better top end with a mid-range and awsome bottom end power. Raced a 2002 Suzuki RM250 with stock everything besides a FFW and 4 extra teeth on rear sprocket. I raced him and pulled him in every gear with stock gearing. He told me he was in 4th when i was in 3rd and i was also in top of 4th when he was in top of 5th. It was amazing. Thanks for all the help.

P.S. I think the RB-desings mods with make it a monster. Suited with LTR suspension and i am off to the races.

Alright so its probably a N1EF. I am going to try a 178M and the needle in #2 position and see how it responds.
