Hello guys.. a friend of mine brought his gasser to me with powervalve rattle (as he said).. I have find out it is not rattle from loose powervalve but resonation of pipe.. all mounts are good... Orings are new.. even so pipe resonates horribly... Is there any solution or trick how to solve it? Thanks a lot

Cant watch here on data. But watch out for close rad guards. Put boot on pipe.
Does it quieten it?
I've just replaced front pipe mount that had gone soft on my 07. Also new orings.

One thing that I have noticed on my bike ( 2014 Factory Replica EC 300 ) is that the inner ring of the stock pipe contacts the end of the exhaust spigot resulting in a very annoying rattle. I have temporarily eliminated the noise with a home made gasket, new rubber o rings and lots of Silicone. The gasket burned out rather quickly and the rattle returned. I am planning on trying a copper exhaust ring spacer from an early CR 250 to see if it will provide a permanent fix. I have also considered machining either the spigot or the ring inside the stock pipe down to provide a little clearance.
I was previously using a House of Horsepower cone pipe that didn't have the welded in ring and there was no rattle at all. Unfortunately the mounting bracket that is close to the kick starter broke off and I haven't had time to get it repaired yet.

Shultzy... I think you are right.. I thought the outer edge of pipe is touching the base of spigot, but inner ring touching the edge of spigot is more likely... I was thinking about stretching another oring and put it on the base of spigot... So edge of pipe wont be touching the base of spigot... Pipe will be a little further out so inner ring would not be touching edge of spigot neither..

Could the exhaust springs have loosened off in their age and aren't strong enough to hold the pipe snug against the barrel anymore?

Oh yeah, I run a pair of springs each side sort of cobbled on 2nd ones. Pipe mount rubber helps heaps. Kinda turned mushy.

Mr.freezer, yes that should work. I experimented and tried the exact same thing but had to have elbow surgery before I could try it out on a actual ride. It?s now -17C here so its going to be a while before I can ride again. I will be trying the copper spacer trick in the spring and will report back then. Good luck with your fix. Please let us know how it works out for you!

I have tried oring on the base of spigot, but edge of pupe cut through it.. than tried oring inside the pipe and it works... Will see how long will it last
