Default Anyone else have this problem?

After removing my bash plate to drain the trans oil. I found the frame to be missing alot of paint with more flaking off.
Is this a common occurrence?
For now I've thrown on some vinyl backround decals to slow the paint flaking off completely.

Same on my previous 2018, my mates 2018, my previous 2019. Except that we had no rust.

My new one hasn't been ridden yet but I put some automotive protection foil on before installing the bash plate.

I don't expect it to help, just an attempt....

Paint chips, it's not likely to rust through the frame in your lifetime just ride it

We need to put that on the list of things for Austria/India to fix.

Not sure what's going on with mine, I butchered the shit out of my bashplate so I could drain oil with it installed No issues so far

Yeah I'm not overly worried about rust tbh. I was more concerned that some buffering foam should be there or not.

Edit: Sorry for the clickbait thread title, didn't even twig until now
