Default new to forum bar riser question?

hi everyone, this is my first post, i am the proud owner of a 2015 gas gas ec 300 i love the bike but could do with the bars a touch higher can anyone recommend a riser kit or a riser kit, bar combination. thanks in advance rob (uk)

Welcome aboard! How high do you want your bars, over the current height? Would changing to a taller bar(like ProTaper CR HI) do the trick?

hi thanks for the reply yes a bar change would do the trick the standard bars are a bit low for me and feel like they are pulling me over the front a little do the pro tapers fit the standard clamps ar they 28mm?? thanks again.

I use the older version of these that have different spacers. I don't know if they are still available but I've never had any problems.

hey you tried moving them as forward as possible too?
there is a bit of adjustment there that makes a big difference, although it does interfere with access to the fork adjusters

thanks for all the replies yes i did try moving them forward but it wasnt enough so i have just ordered the pro taper cr highs
