Default 2007 EC300 Showa Conversion - Triples Question

I have a set of 2006 CRF250 forks that I have revalved for offroad. I want to transplant them onto my 2007 EC300 to replace the 45mm Marzocchis.

In reading through the various conversion threads I am confused about the best triple clamp option.

Option 1. Bore out the standard 45mm Marzocchi gasser lower clamp from 57mm to 58.5mm. Two Possible Downsides: This might not correct for any possible change in trail caused by differences between the Showa and Zoke forks. Boring out the lower clamp might reduce the strength of the camp too much.

Option 2. Use Honda CRF triple clamps.
Downsides:
1. The posts I have read indicate that the Honda steering stem is too short.
Is this true?
2. Again the possible trail difference due to fork lug offsets and clamp offsets

Option 3. Use Yamaha YZF triple clamps and correct steering stem bearings
Downsides:
1. A shim may be required for the lower clamp
2. Again the possible trail difference due to fork lug offsets and clamp offsets

Any guidance is much appreciated. Thanks, Steve

Why not press out the stem from the GG triple and install in the CRF triple? Of course, not knowing rake/trail/offset might be a concern, but you should be able to find those numbers somewhere (maybe even here?). Just another option.

Good idea to press out the GG stem and re-use on the CRF lowers. I did not know if that part of the stems was a standardized dimension or not.

I don't think that I can use the GG stem in Honda CRF lower triple clamp.
The GG stem is 28mm ID at its lower end per All Balls Fork Conversion bearing chart and the CRF is 30mm so the hole in the CRF clamp is too big for the 28mm GG stem diameter.

https://www.allballsracing.com/index.php/forkconversion

I am leaning toward boring out the GG lower clamps, or revalving the 45s until I am happy and installing a set of Flexx handlebars.

The bike handles pretty well for my ability and speed (or lack thereof), its just that the forks beat me up.

Yeah I revolved the mazzocs and it was better. But I still felt like I was getting beat up to some degree.
YZ swap with revalve on my 07 fixed the problem. Thread/s on here. Maybe can sell crf Forks to fund SSS YZ and clamps to some extent.

I went for a ride yesterday after installing a set of flexx handlebars. Also took out a click of compression on the 45 Marzocchi forks and a click of HSC off the Sachs shock. I felt some reduction in hashness and my wrists don?t hurt today.

I am on the fence about swapping the forks. I?ll ride the bike and click the clickers a bit more.
