05 07 Engine Meld

Any reason I cant take the transmission out of an 05 ec300 and put it in an 07 engine? I am about to order parts for the fusion motor.

I don't know for sure, but I'm guessing you can. I'd hop on the parts fische and cross the part numbers.

I just put an 2000 gear set in a 06 300 and it fit and works just fine.

I do not think you will have a problem. I pulled the transmission from an 04 and dropped it into my 2011 cases with no issue. I noticed one of the gear sets was a different part number on the microfiche, but it worked just fine.
