Default Hardparts fan kit

Mine arrived today and it seems nobody has seen one installed. I'm just curious where the thermostat should go. And the fan for that matter. I assume the fan goes on the right rad.

Default Hardparts fan kit

From what I remember all goes in the right side.

In would just google KTM or CRF fan kit and that will give you some good examples and photos.

When I had my CRF250x. I lived by this guys website. Towards the bottom he talks about adding a fan and all info.

It would flow vertically from the water pump

I would assume the thermostat goes just before the coolant enters the engine and fan goes on the right as the coolant exits

Is this specifically for the GG or is it a KTM (or other brand) kit? Do you have a link? I've been wanting to add a fan to my 300 so a "bolt on" kit would be sweet. I had modded a KTM fan to fit my old CRF450R that I had, but that required a bit of bracket fabrication and welding.

Thank you, now to see what I'd need to do to mount it on my '01!

I still have no idea why anyone would need it on a Gasser? I've put mine through some stuff, slow, tight, stuck, clutch slip, & Rekluse abuse and I've yet to overheat.....
