Default ec125 2013 how to weld a crack in the pipe

Hello ,
I recently bought the bike , and upon first ride I noticed some black oil coming out of the pipe , somewhere around the middle .
It seems like someone already welded this area , but missed a spot ...
What is this pipe made of ? (hand made ?) what would be the best way to weld it ?
Your help is highly appreciated .

Thank you ,

Kobi

Pipes are normally just mild steel, and mig welder shouldn't have a problem

it will be plated mild steel, get it tig welded if you want it tidy. Mig will be fine if you aren't worried about looks or cover it with a guard.

Tig or mig but I would drill a hole at the end of each crack to stop the cracking

My MIG welder is one of my favorite tools! lt is like a hot glue gun for steel!
