Default Difference in heads

Recently done the top end on my 09 EC 125 , to find out the previous owner had swapped the EC head for the MC version .. anyone know of there would be any pros or cons to doing this ?

The MC head would have a higher compression.

Or lower compression because lower compression give you less torque but more top end RPM.
