Vintage bikes became an obsession with me and here is one of my cooler ones: A 1981 Gilera 125 MX. Not much went into restoration as I wanted to be able to enjoy it...It needed a new pipe (the one on it when I got it was a YZ 125 pipe that was cut and rewelded to "fit"). This was the only one imported to the USA in 1981 and it came with the complete spares kit which is mostly intact except the spare motor (included in the spares kit) was installed as the original motor is seized. It sounds like a works bike!!

Wow! That's reall cool! I've never seen a Gilera. I love MX bikes of that Vintage!

I've helped mates restore both a 79 and 80 yz250, those things go like cut snakes! Nice looking bike you have there.

awesome work!loving those old yz's,interesting front brake setup with the linkage rod operating the other brake shoe!makes me wish I kept my ole pe175!
