Default 2003 300 feels cramped!

I have been messing with the setup on my 03 300 and it feels very small. Anybody else notice this? It makes standing on the bike very tireing. Ive fitted some taller bars and modified some YZ clamps to move the bars forward but its still feels short. Im thinking of upgrading to a newer bike does anybody know if the newer frames feel the same??

The pre '12 bikes were always referred to as the 7/8ths bike.
Due to the smaller chassis.

2012s were a flop. '14 on up were the best years.

I'd stay away from the 12, but 13 should be ok. But as already mentioned, I would reccomend the 14 and up. There you will get the Reiger rear shock.

That's correct I've measured my friend's Beta xtrainer side by side with my 2011 ec250 and they are almost identical in size.

I am 6'4" and I ride a 2000 and I had the same problem I found the Fastway pegs in the lower position helped. I have my bars up one inch and forward one inch from the stock position. Straighter bars with little curve back helps too.
