Outer fluid doesn't do much more than lubricate the seal lip and bushings. Viscosity is of no real concern.

From what I recall the OEM fluid is Marzocchi 7.5wt. This oil is rated at 26.1 cSt@40C/5.25 cSt@100C/VI 150.

I always used the same oil I always use in everything which is 15.9 Viscosity @ 40?C, cSt, and 4.4@100... VI 209.

I used Maxima 85-150 5wt at 220cc inner and 300cc outer. It's 16.2 cSt@40C/4.4cSt@100C/VI 201. I've had this same oil in all the Showa and KYB forks I've run for years. I love the action of my 48 Zokes forks with this oil.

That said, cartridge and outer chamber fluid should be the same as the Zoke 48's are a semi-sealed cartridge fork.

My forks are good everywhere. Rocks, square edges, whoops, etc. If it helps, here is my compression stack:

Bolt
Spring
31.85 x .3
Base
11 x .3
11 x .3
18 x .1
20 x .1
24 x .1
13.8 x .1
31.8 x .15
31.8 x .15
28 x .1
2.5 spacer

Did you test it yet? How does it feel? I presume you might want to increase the rebound somewhat. Many of us have experienced the need for one more shim in the rebound stack after going to lighter than standard oil.
