Default 02 Pampera 250 opinions like a 70's enduro?

Looking at buying a 2002 GG Pampera 250 tomorrow. It's priced right and thought it would be a fun little bike. I have had a EC200 (2001?) and loved it. I'm also building a 96 RM250 for a woods bike, machined cylinder base, head mod, light port work by me to clean up rough castings and smooth things out.

I realized the little Pamperas are not a EC, not meant to ride fast and am fine with that. I have a mint 75 Yamaha DT175 that I like to ride on and light off road work, does anything I throw at it within reason and has enough power to keep me happy. Would anyone else think the lil Pamp would be like a modernized 70's small CC enduro?

I would say the pampera is much like a kdx 200 of that era. Would be a good little commuter or light trail bike. Which is what it sounds like you are looking for.

I ended up bringing it home, 6 1/2 hour round trip.
She needs a kickstand, someone removed it. Needs a battery for the gauge.
It has a FMF silencer, I'm guessing that's not stock but don't really know. Needs new sprockets and chain. A couple of tires in the near future.
Other than that the front signals and headlight shroud are zip tied on but otherwise a very clean bike with title.

Gave her a quick ride at 5 deg F but was happy with its power and the fact it's a small bike should make it a lot of fun.
