The sticker type grip heaters that are most common usually come with a resistor connected to them to provide the Lo function. It's the square object in the middle of the attached picture "resistor crop". Your's may be different though.

This is what I've got, except it came with a rocker switch.
Nothing "inline" like the resistor in your pic. I'm guessing the low switch just sends juice to a smaller section of element ? |

Yes, the resistor discussion does not apply to your heaters. If they are 20W heaters they should get fairly hot in the Hi setting and comfortably warm in the Lo setting.

BrianVT,
What style of grip heaters did you get. I followed the direction on mine and they have the switch backwards, the low is high can't even ride with it in this position because its too hot and high is just right when riding. Worked awesome at the harescramble on sunday. I think mine were Moose? Little round toggle switch. Also heard guys having problems with grounding to the triple tree, inconsistant ground running through the bearing assembley, ground to the frame. |

Thanks Ryno. I was wondering about the ground. I'll maybe try the gas tank bolt ? I'll try the low switch too. They definately haven't gotten "too hot".
They are Moose brand. |

Aaron did the same thing with his. I'll have to let them know it's wrong in the instructions.
