Default 08 ISDE bikes

Hey guys,
I just got the info on the bikes for the 08 ISDE. They're 09 models with special ISDE graphics. There's an ohlins shock on them, looks like zokes forks. I'm stoked!

Unfortunately I won't be buying one this year. Instead I'll be renting one (though I may smuggle some plastic home).

Looks like sachs forks to me. The shock looks to be the older style, not the ttx. I wonder if you can upgrade to TTX shock and TTX fork internals?

From the photo / drawing, the fork sliders look almost gold in color?

As long as the shock has high speed compression adjustment I'm happy. That's what's on my 07 and it works great.

Finally seeing the bike has gotten me stoked for Greece. I've been training my ass off for the past month and will continue to for the next 2 months before it's off for attempt number 2. Here's hoping for no problems this year.

Why don't you just bring your suspension to Greece with you? Seems like you might be more comfortable on something you already know and prefer...

Unfortunately I'm limited to one bag, 15kg (just over 30 pounds) on my flight so there's no way I can bring my suspension.
