Yes, I would buy another. My '05 MC250 amazes me more every time I ride it.
I have little experience riding, and frankly, the MC was probably a wacky choice for me. But it's so amazing, and I'm learning. I'm doing the basic maintenance on it, and it just works and works and works. I haven't tuned the suspension, and won't bother with that until it needs rebuilding. As for power...good lord, I was on a dry lake bed yesterday, and I was in sixth gear and gunning, and it still had more, while I was going faster than I ever had on two wheels. How fast are these monsters? Anyway, when the time comes, I'll buy another. But first, I'm going to keep this one going for a long time. |

Wouldn't buy another 4T unless they bring back FI, go back to 6 gears and the slipper clutch, and re-instate proper suspension (either Marzochi or ohlins). It seems in the rush to get a 250f on board they sold their USPs down the river!
Having said that I dont have any plans to change what I have anytime soon.

I have an 05 200 DE, love the power, the handling, the suspension, the brakes. Ergonomically it fits me. I have been riding for 35 years, everything from XR's, IT's, YZ's, WR's, DRZ's, DR's, as I get older I have realized that it's not just power, or suspension, or brakes...it's the overall package that counts the most. The Gas Gas 200 is a package that works, I would buy another in a heartbeat !

I dont think so at this point I have had my 08 ec 300 since nov and all i have done is work on it. dont know if it was just abused or if its a gasgas thing the bike does handle well but the forks suck. thought it was about ready to ride floats stuck forks leak reeds chipped and so on if I would have had a jap bike my parts would be on the way but instead im spending my day trying to find crossover stuff that will work so i dont have to pay gofasters crazy high prices. I basicaly have a new bike butt i am over it if I can ger ride of it i will get something that i can get parts for without jumping through hoops. I thought the bike would be great but all i have done is work on it. now that is ready to ride im afraid to break it

I had seriously considered buying my 2nd GG this year, but instead decided to treat my 2010 to some new parts. Do a 300 to 250 conversion and ride it for another year. I'm that happy with it. |

Yes, I'm on my first gasgas, had it for 6 months, love riding it. It's a little wide in the pegs for me but most bikes bigger than a kx125 are. The only thing that would pull me away is that new ossa enduro
I have kept my 2006 KTM 200XC in the garage, I can't seem to let go of it, it's significantly smaller than my 11 250 sixdays, but the sixdays handles better in the stuff we are riding here, and the e-tech revalved suspension blows away my terrain tamer revalved ktm. if I move back to where we ride vertical narrow technical trails I think I would use my 200 for that, below 3rd gear where the trees hit the bars every 100 feet the handling does not bother me. I do not like any ktm made after 2007, the new chassy is too big and slow feeling, and still has quirky handling compared to the gasgas, I'll probably keep that 06 200 for 20 years. |

Of course I would! I have already secretly started stashing money away for a new Gasser. Aside from my old KLX300, Gas Gas has been the only bike I have ridden in the last two decades that I have felt a part of the bike when I ride. The others just gave me a sense of riding on top of it and not really in control.

I've got a 2003 EC300 and would never buy another Gasser, its been the biggest money pit i've ever owned, spares are hard to come by and expensive and you need plenty of them. O almost forgot, the secondhand value is crap.they wont idle and dont use a standard fastner size so you need lots of tools to do the simplest of tasks. Sold my enduro spec YZF250 for one of these and regret it. Sorry for being negative , its just my view.
