Being that I change just about all of my riding buddies' tires, I bought one a year or two ago (it was practically free as it put an order over the minimum to get me free shipping!) I don't really have a problem just using a pair of 8" spoons, but if it was going to make changes even easier I figured why not? I tried it a time or two but really didn't see much benefit to it, the times that it could be useful it seems like grabbing a third spoon has served me well. I bet if I ever switch to bibs instead of tubes that this thing will be worth it's weight in gold.

Yep.....love it....especially with tough carcass tires...like Maxxis. Like butter with Michelin's!

Funny you say that cause that's were we used it was on a trelleborg winter tire that has a rediculous carcass. That's why I bought it!

Default bead buddy

I have had mine for about 5 yrs. Works great, and much easier than using vise grips

I have a few and use them all the time mounting tires with Tubliss. Walk it on most of the way with my hands, a couple of these, and one or two grabs with the spoon. The less you have to stick a tire spoon in there the better.
