Radiator cap says Evans coolant only

2007 GasGas FSR 450. I'm changing coolant.

The radiator cap says EVANS WATERLESS COOLANT ONLY.

Are there other brands that I can use or is this the only brand coolant? Are all GasGas bike like this ? Bike shops closed on Sunday & I'd like to be able to get something today from Auto parts store.

That's a decal that comes with the Evans coolant. Pull it off and run what you want.

You can use water in it, just make sure it's a reputable filtered spring water. Sparkling not still. A twist of Lemon flavouring will keep the system from corroding, but if you live in cool climates you may need to consider a proprietary antifreeze. This is where the Russians know their salt, or rather their grains, although the Fins do particularly nice Vodkas too.
