Default 2012 Rego plate options?

Has anyone got any ideas with shortening the rego plate shroud under the mud guard? Its huge and i want to keep the blinkers on but shorten the plastic part. Maybe i will just have to cut it down?

How huge is it mate? I haven't seen one yet? I know the 2010 and 2011's came with huge danglers too. The mould actually had a recess where they were to be cut back to make them normal size. I just used a heat gun (or more specifically gfs hair dryer) and then cut it with a stanley knife. Worked a treat.

Cut it off! Do what Mark has done. Looks slick. If you need the blinkers spend $20 and get a small set of lcd ones that attach with 3M tape. They should plug right in easy.

Don't know how 'roadworthy' you need to be where you are but I basically run nothing but a head light and tail light. If they boys in blue want to hand out fines then they could get me for lack of chain guard, mirrors, etc etc etc. I just ride by the rules when on the road. Try my best to do right by the law, and hope they do thier best to return the favour.
