Someone just put one in the classifieds. Check it out.

I'm sorry to hear about the crash too. I wish you a speedy recovery.

Thats Girard, it sold already. Steve is bringing one to the Hammer Run for me for the new scoot. I won't ride without one now, so much more control. Really nice with a lighter flywheel, no need for the heavy 2K-3.

Another reminder for me to pick up some neck protection... I did a header last sept and my legs went numb. I was in rugged terrain and fifteen miles from the nearest road... Luckily I was fine - although my helmet should be replaced...

A friend of mine went over the bars a few months ago and broke c2/c3. paralyzed from the neck down.... He wasn't going that fast.... It was dusty and I think he got caught off guard when his front wheel got swallowed by a big whoop in a corner....

Be safe out there. I hope that you heal quickly and be thankful to be alive and with your family.

jeff

Yeah, me too, except the only one that I can wear with any degree of comfort so far is the EVS, but its very restrictive. The Leatt is out, it sits right on my clavicle plate. A lot of clavicle breaks with them too, in simple get offs.

I really have to get my kids set up first though, right now we all run the neck rings.

I work on a air ambulance and unfortunately pick up offroaders fairly often.

Wear as much protective gear as you can tolerate.

Wishing all the injured riders a speedy and full recovery

Stay safe,

The EVS is the one I wear....three yrs now...I forget its on...swapped out and went head first in a gate last year...the guys following were freaked out...I broke a few ribs and cracked my sterum....bruised a lung

I have tried to ride without it and it feels plain wierd...thinking of the alpine stars bionic for a new one.....but its good to try them on cause like you say they dont fit all the same way

I wish you a quick and full recovery. I got bumped and fell over at the end of march at the Lake Havasu WORCS race. A pumpkin ran me over and broke my femur dislocated my hip broke my back broke all my ribs on the right side and had a collapsed lung. I was back on the bike beginning of september. So don't sell the bikes to quick. Good luck my prayers are with you.

Wow, sorry to hear that Troy passed away... It makes my injuries seem minor compared to what he went through, and a reminder to me that things could have been a lot worse.

I'm hanging in there, lots of Tylenol.

I haven't and can't touch the bike yet.
