KTM Flywheel?
Does anyone know if KTM flywheels crossover onto Gassers?
I ask because I would like to try a lighter Trailtech -4oz 2k-3 flywheel. KTM - 300/380 EXC Two Stroke 2000-07 ? Requires 2K3 Ignition. ? For use with stock or Trail Tech stator. http://trailtech.net/motorcycle_flywheels.html |

I have been waiting for my son's friend to come over with his KTM250EXC to try this. I have a GG Kokusan 2K-2 system on the shelf I will compare in detail with the KTM 2K-2 Kokusan. From a visual I can tell you the backing plate is almost identical, stator is identical. Question is if the flywheel taper/keyway cut is the same. I suspect it is. This particular KTM has the 2K-2 with the rivited on weight, looks like about 10 - 12 oz. Sorry for the delay, I want to figure this out too.

Thanks Glenn, hopefully they are the same because that would make finding a used 2k-2 (which is my other option) much easier too.
