Default Anybody need a skidplate?

Just ordered a skid plate from Utah Sport Cycle. $64 is a real steal compared to what some want for a GG skid plate. I have these on all our bikes. They are built rugged and hold up to abuse.

Regularly priced at $71, you can get 10% of now if you mention xmas08. They had two on the shelf. But they said they can build them in a couple days.

Please post up some pics of the skid plate, the mounting setup, fitment on the bike, and bike pics when you get it.

This would be great for the forum so people can decide if it's for them. Very good price for a heavy duty skidplate IMO and I know the Utah stuff is supposed to be very beefy.

Thanks

Been using Uath plate since I"ve had my bike, almost 7 years now! That plate is rugged and can handle the abuse with no problems. I believe they make a guide plate and a offroad plate, the off road plate has "wings" on the side to protect the waterpump and f/wheel case.

Mounting is no problem, 3 clamps to the frame and has a drain hole for the oil. I take plate off when I change the tranny oil.

I'm happy with mine!

I have one on my DR-Z. It fits great and is quite sturdy.

The OZ dollar exchange plus shipping I'd guess $110-130. Just a guess though.

I bought Force rad guards (from the land of convicts) for $129 shipped to my door.

I need a new plate as well. I'm not thrilled with how most of the mount.

Would like to hear from more people on what they are using.

I asked Gofasters a few months back what they had. They said they would be getting some real nice ones in but they were a "little expensive". I dropped them an email to see if they got them in but haven't heard back yet.

So post up what you have and pics if you got them.
