I was only looking at these the other day... they sound good, anyone used them?
Anyone heard of or used odyssey batteries(meant to be half deep cycle and half normal with huge CCA).
Cheers Mark

Yeah, the guys on KTM Talk seem to love this battery. Same on the NEDB (New England Dirt Bikes) web site.

I guess if you wanted more info to help convince you there is probably something on Thumper Talk about them.

I say go for it but get the bigger model one. Still much lighter than a regular battery.

I just made the mistake of replacing my 2 year old Yuasa with a Bikemaster. Basically, it doesn't work even though it has the same number. It is the same size as in my wifes XT 225 so I will probably just move it there and buy something else.
My 450FSE has never been great at starting but can usually be depended on with a reasonably fresh battery. Since there isn't any room for anything larger than stock I am interested in any "outside the box" solutions like this but would like to hear from others that it did work first.

I ended up buying one and it is brilliant. The after sales service was great too and I had a few dramas(my own fault), and the guy there walked me through it.
Thoroughly recommend the service and the battery.

What size did you get Wence? Not sure wether to get the 2.5 or 5 A-hr. Putting in a 2k-3 will run a halogen x2 to start. Working on converting it to LEDs.

Brian,
I went with a 5Ah just to be sure and was told at the time a 2.5 would probably be ok.
