So I have plastics on order. I'll let you know what I ended up with. It's a bit of a mix and match. My local dealer will let me take back whatever doesn't fit all I have to pay is return shipping. Wish he was a GG dealer.

I tried buying the one from Jostby but they were the wrong year. So I have some shrouds coming from Halls, I got the last ones. I also tried motocrosscenter.com but they were out as well.

Also graphics from graphicsmx. Had a couple of long conversations with him today so looks like I'll get what I want all printed up.

I've had good luck with Greenland MX . You might try them when you need to look for parts outside the US.

Pretty happy with the result. Not a perfect fit. But when you're passing me roosting on the trails, you won't notice.

It's a KTM SX front fender and number plate.

Next up is graphics and seat cover.

Not sure if I should post this here. It's a little "hack". But I got tired of no skid plate. And I blew my stash on plastics and graphics. Plus I still need rad braces. So the skid plate is down on the list. But I'm a little nervous about a rock hitting the case.

So I used to use UHMW plastic on Jeeps and buggy's for skid plates, however they were flat.

So I bought a cutting board (which is UHMW plastic). I used to have 4'x8' sheets of this stuff. And figured I'd try my hand.

Who doesn't like a BPA free skid plate?

So cut out and bent.

Installed. Not great but a Revision 1 it's not bad. Needs a hole for the oil drain.

That's rad! I love stuff like this! Definitely post this stuff. That's a great idea. I ordered a sheet of similar plastic from McMaster to build a linkage guard and it works really well. It's really slippery so it slides over rocks and trees.

Bike is looking awesome! Keep it coming!

Looks just like my 2000 XC.. no counterbalancer as far as I know.

Just curious why you did away with that awesome Hebo headlight? I love how that generation looked.

Thanks.

I didn't like it. The lights don't have bulbs and I didn't want to mess with it.

Plus not a huge fan of black plastics.

I've kept it and its staying in the container with the factory original one I have. Just in case.
