The late 90's pampers were much more fun,, they were the size of a KX 100 big wheel model with a 280 trials engine and full DOT lights and was about 180#'s if that.. felt like a toy.. A club member got one for his wife that rode.. She was only 5'2" and she rode some of the nastiest trails on our enduros on it.. plus rode the road back to the start after working the check.. I so wanted one of those bikes to play with..

I have now seen pictures on the internet of full size Beta 2st's. Offroadchampions had one up not long ago. So we will see what comes of it. Article said 300 one year then 250 next..ect...

Sherco's would be cool if the cost in the states here was even reasonable! I think the last I checked they retailed for $11,000 something. Importer said Sherco has no desire to lower price on enduro line...

Cheers,

Rick

That looks like a very nice bike with all the right features and parts, with the exception of the fork perhaps. Independent and adjustable PV sounds interesting. Havn't heard any bad things about Betas. If it performs and the mfg quality is good, as well as the parts supply chain, look out!

I don't completely get the Japaneese phiosophy either. They could easily deliver a knockout punch with a brand new 2stroke woods bike design with all of the quality advantages and have an instant following of aftermarket suppliers. They probably can't sell them cheap enough unless they build a million of them, so its not worth it.
