Default WTB: ECU/CDI for FSR/FSE

Utah here.

Need a new CDI/ECU for a 2007-2008 FSR or FSE 450.

Why do you think you need one? There was not one that I sold to around ten different people that was the actual problem when I was a dealer. It was more often than not a wiring issue at the ecu plug.

Ok thanks for the insight. The clip that holds the ECU to the wiring harness is broke so i zip-tied it together. I'm not sure how to tell if there is a bad connection there still.

You can buy the socket separately. It is the same as some Ducatis. The wiring usually breaks just after the plug. It is very hard to find though.

This is the plug I'm talking about with the broken clip. Plugs directly into the ECU. Is this the same one you are referring to? If so where should I be looking exactly for bad connection?

Every one I have found has either been a loose/corroded terminal in that plug or a break in the harness around 100mm from the plug.

I have fixed about 5 like that already.

Continuity checks on each wire while wiggling the harness is your best bet.
