I saw all the EE bling 2 weekends ago at our D-14 banquet. Very nice stuff .The skid plate looked good and tuff.

The new plates are in and they are quality pieces. They are designed to fit 2007 and up bikes. However, since the early-2010 and prior bikes did not utilize the rear screw attachment, an additional bracket is needed at the rear of the plate to secure it to the frame. EE is working on that right now, and future kits will include the bracket.

For now, the best course of action might be to buy a 2011 to go with your new skid plate

or hit your dealer/EE up for the rear bracket and mounting template if you bought a plate for an '07-10 bike.

I have a feeling GG changed the frames mid season. Al Randt called me to check out my last 2010 EC300 and it has the bracket.

It wouldnt surrprise me if the later build bikes had a frame change.

Got my EE skid plate earlier this week for the 2011. EXTREMELY easy to install, actually... it took longer to remove the plate from the package than it did to put it on the bike. The end result was no thrown tools, no screaming cuss fit, and none of my dogs got kicked in the process.

Thanks to Alan, Gary, and all the guys at EE for offering Gas Gas riders one very nice skid plate!

Super tough and fits perfect. does not bend into the flywheel cover and water pump the way others have.

Their Rad braces are the best I have ever seen. Super good stuff
