Default 2000 XC300 with ohlins questions...

I just picked up a basket case 2000 XC300. Doing my best to bring it back to life this winter.
It has upper and lower triple clamps from what I believe to be a 2000 CR250.
it has ohlins forks. An Exel rim with AJP hub and Nissin master and brake caliper.
The caliper mount has been "modified" ugh... to fit the ohlins fork.
WTF do I have??
Are the wheels and brake gas gas or Honda?
I know pics would be great here and I'm working on it.

My '01 XC 200 has AJP hubs & Hyd clutch. Nissan brakes same as '01 Honda CR 250, but front & rear disc are same as '01 KTM. The Excel rim is probably aftermarket as my '01 GG has DID rims. Forks are WP, but shock is Ohlins.

Sounds like a junkyard special but it all works, in total, very well. Yours will too once you get it sorted out.

I'm not sure about the hub but everything for the brakes sounds like GG. There was a Dealer Edition (I think it was called) somewhere around '01-'04 that came with Ohlins front. The WP43 clamps and Ohlins forks would interchange. Sounds like somebody tried to do the swap with Honda Forks maybe?

It is correct. AJP hub and excel rim some 01-04 bikes came with DID U wheels.

Thanks for the response guys!
So if need to replace front wheel bearings and brake pads I get gaser parts or Honda? Caliper needs a full rebuild. Honda or gasser?
I'm sending the forks to Factory Connection. I'll let them identify them and sort them out.... Same with the shock.
I plan on adding steering stops on the frame to mate with the CR250 lower clamp.
right now the stops are the radiator...……..

turns out the forks came off a Cannondale 440. Sent them and the stock ohlins rear shock to Factory Connection and they are sorting them out. I hope to get them back soon.
Fabricated proper steering stops to match the lower CR triple clamp. Hope it is improvement over the stock forks.
