Ec200 hesitation stutter

Hi having a nightmare with my ec 200,I had a full rebuild done last month,had a few outings on the bike and it ran awesome,couldn't fault it,then when I got home I washed her,straight after I started her up first kick and sat there idling nice,then after 20 secs the idle dropped and then cut out,since then my bike seems to stutter when trying to get into the band if you mess about the throttle it then goes in and pulls untill you change gear and then it does it again trying to get into the band,checked carb and cleaned,checked reeds,checked plug,drained and gave fresh fuel,looked for signs of wet or damp(found none),anyone have any ideas ?

rag in the air intake.. coil? stator? breather for fuel tank?

Spark plug died, that's my guess....
