Dunno I only have an IMS. It's better than the standard GG one in my opinion but don't know how it stacks up against Clarke.

Why it's better than stock is that it has a wide filler and the mounts for the plastics use bolts into metal inserts in the tank not wood screws into plastic. The downside to the tank is it requires removal to change carb jetting as you can no longer rotate the carb with the tank in place.

I think Mark at Go Fasters is ready to go postal over this Apparantly Clarke supposedly was within an inch of making the tank when the donated bike was asked for back so onto the backburner again went the tank. That was early July when I was told that so perhaps some progress has been made since then

It is just beyond me that GG has never had nice oversize tanks developed for their bikes

Spoke to Clarke after several attempts to contacting them in weeks past. Per Janet today, Aug 3rd, 2009......It will be a 3 piece tank, and is close to being ready to finalize the mold. New tanks "should" be available 3 weeks from today! After several weeks of employee vacations, race promotions they are back at the shop and ready to get this done...I am keeping my fingers crossed!

That's good. It means it won't be rotational molded, which can be very inconsistant on fit.

Wellllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll there is a god after all (Mark is that you?)

3 piece tank, hmmm, interesting. I'm guessing something to do with the shrouds or behind the shrouds
