Default Bike smokes a lot when on the pipe - right side crank seal?

I have an 05 EC250. The bike runs very well except that it smokes a lot when I get on the pipe. I have been riding with it like this for a season already (about 20hrs). I don’t ride on the pipe that much, only on hill climbs which we don’t have a lot of where I ride.
I installed a Lectron carb last week in hopes of this problem going away but it is still smokes the same. Could it be the right side crank seal? The bike runs strong otherwise. I plan on replacing this bike within the next two years so I don’t really want to split the cases and do a complete rebuild.
Has anyone had luck with replacing the seal without splitting the cases? It looks like there is an inner bushing which could be removed first and then pull the seal out.

(I’ve hijacked a picture RockefellerGG’s rebuild thread that shows the bushing)

Sorry for that post. I just did some more YouTube research and found a ton of videos with my question answered. Even one with a Gasser crank seal.

I know you guys will forgive me. Best bunch of guys I know...

It's very easy to do, make sure you oil the inner surface of the seal before you put it in or it will burn out quickly

Are you sure it’s the crank seal? Does it smell like burnt gear oil? If you dont rev the bike out much I’d be willing to bet that the crankcase is just loading up with unburnt 2T oil. Especially if you’re using an oil with a high flashpoint I.e. Motul 800.

Repack the muffler. Should every year or so but I bet it's a mess in there.

I will repack the muffler, it has been two seasons since it has been done.

I thought that it could have been loading up and that was my excuse to buy a Lectron for the bike. Plug looks very clean after my first ride with the new carb. To be honest, I never had a plug look as clean as this one does.

I think I’ll try the seal anyways. It looks fairly easy to do because of the bushing that can be removed first. I was never a fan of drilling a screw into the seal and risk getting some chips in the bearing
