I'm going to the lectron 38mm carb over the winter, how did you find the setup of it? Also did you use the lectron throttle cable as I've seen some of the ktm guys saying you can use the standard cable

I used the electron cable. The carb is good for 2.5 bhp, and that is not a lie. The carb just keeps feeding the motor fuel, literally it is like a electric motor.

best 300 or any bike I have ever ridden. This entire set up with the pipe, head, silencer, just makes this bike rip. I am not sure any bike could keep up with it that is under $15K

NiCE!!! I done the same setup less the carb, on both a 300 and 250. Between the 2...I like the 250 MUCH better. As for the 300, in stock form I would never use the cloudy day mapping, but now...I can barely use all the power in the sunshine mode! Richard certainly did his homework on this kit. Good job sir.

The carb is so worth the money. I have several hours on the carb now and it starts cold, hot, never need to even choke it. The stock carb I could never really get the float right, and the stock needle sucked.

in the end, the electron is worth it, nothing sucks worse than trying to get a bike started in the woods when you are beat.

Nice bike. Any fitment issues on the carb? Also, did you notice if your fuel range changed at all?

Thanks,
Chuck
