Exclamation 2011 EC300 jetting issue

hi all
Need help with jetting please.
Gas is 100% stock.
It runs at 330 feet, +20 celsius. 170 main and 38 pilot with CCK needle at first clip (leanest)

It runs good from idle to all needle range. But way too rich at WOT. Obviously main jet is too big. Electrode is dark (rich). BUT i don't find examples with smaller than 170 and 40 pilot, so i can not understand - is my jetting simply rich, or i have some other problem?

Interesting, that i was riding two days before with stock needle and 170\40 jets, and it runs good at all throttle range. All that changes - it temperature, it grows from 5 to 20 celsius. It was only two times i ride on new bike for now. So i confused - can it go so rich because of the temperature??

Do you still have the cable choke on your clutch?

It can give false readings, best to change to button choke on the carb itself

And some 2011 models shipped with 36mm carbs rather than the more common 38mm.

Get rid of the cable operated choke.

The carb size is cast into the cap.

Disconnect the choke at the clutch and make sure it is fully closed (push the cable all the way back or possibly borrow a button choke from a ktm if it fits) and try again, I had the same issue and went through a pile of "bad" spark plugs before I worked it out.
