Default Foot pegs

I have a 2005 ec 300 that needs new pegs.
Are they a gasgas specific item or are they the same as other brands ?

I run Pivot Pegz on my 2010 model but they were on my 2005 model before I sold it. The Pivot Pegz site shows that the same pegs fit on:

Gas Gas 1999-2014 EC, XC, MX, EC FSE All Capacities

Kawasaki 1997-2004 KX 125-250
Kawasaki 2005-2008 KX 125
Kawasaki 2004 KXF 250

Suzuki 2003-2008 RM 125-250
Suzuki 2004 RMZ 250

Hope this helps a bit.

2010 and later YZ 5XC pegs are wider and made from Titanium so you can save a little weight.

5XE pegs are similar to stock GG pegs but made from Titanium.

Note that you will need to mod the RHS peg (if you go with other brands) to alow space for the brake pedal when the pegs fold up.
It involves a fair amount of grind and can get costly if not done properly, I initially didn't grind off enough of the Fastway pegs and the pegs hit a rock fairly hard forced the brake internals out of the brake mc I eventually had to get a new mc as the circlip groove rounded and the internals kept falling out every time there was any sort of upward contact to the lever

I recently replaced the foot pegs on my 2004 EC300, I was surprised how expensive they were...then I saw this Stainless Steel set on eBay, from China for only 15 euros including postage!!

I thought I'd give them a go, I had to wait 2 weeks for delivery, but when they arrived I was pleased with the quality.

I've been using them for a few months now and I'm very happy with them, no complaints, especially for the price!

If anyone decides to buy similar, be careful to check the diameter/length of the mounting hole and pin...I didn't and I had to drill/enlarge the mounting hole in the pegs, other than that they were a perfect fit!
