Default Moving to the dark side.

Ok, you guys have convinced me. I'll have an 07 EC300 coming my direction in a few days.

We'll see if they really are better than KTMs. I still have an 04 400exc and an 07 200xc-w. I've only seen one Gas Gas enduro bike on the trails in my life.

Thumbs up

You mean from the dark side.

Congrats, and anything you can't find here just ask.

Before you even start the bike, get your hands in there and make sure that quick change filter is seated!!

Welcome and good luck!

Congrats on the new scoot Same thing I'm lusting after.

Life is about taking chances and it's only a motorcycle after all. Of course a full setup and ride report will be needed.

What did you get it for if you don't mind me asking??

I called around and got prices ranging from $6200 to $7000. I found a dealer that offered one for $5750. This seemed pretty reasonable, especially seeing how much the 08's are. I was planning on picking up an 08 KTM 300xcw-e (electric start) but actually that seems pretty silly. Stick a Rekluse in and I'm good to go. I realize resale isn't as favourable to GG as KTM but I'll probably hang on to it for a while.

Unfortunately it's being shipped to me so it will be a bit before I can give you guys a report.

I was just messing with you.

I looked at the links. Some nice stuff. The radiator guards are pretty slick.

Bill, do you ride trials? If you do there's no comparison between the orange hordes and Gasser. The Gasser pulls off the bottom end like a trials bike. The EC series are enduro bikes designed by a trials bike company for trials riders who ride off-road. As we've seen recently with the domination of enduros by trials riders this is clearly the way to go

Now, lets talk you into a Gasser pro.....

Hey Doz, Hyde are (used to be) South African.
